The Speech Fiesta is held at Watertown High School in Watertown, South Dakota.  In the past few years, it has been held the same weekend as the Minnesota State High School League Tournament, so Minnesota participation has declined.

The Speech Fiesta is held in January, while most other tournaments are held in the previous year.  Therefore, the dates for Speech Fiesta final round results are one year off of the results of other tournaments.  For example, the 1991 final round results are part of the 1990 season.
