Subject: Good News/Bad News (Emmy's/Pecker)

The bad news, if anyone missed this, is that Lili lost out on an Emmy for Best Guest Actress in a Drama Series to Cloris Leachman. I would have felt better if she had lost to Emma Thompson, who won for Best Guest Actress in a Comedy Series. In fact they didn't even deign to announce this category at the main awards but instead relagated it to the Technical Awards show along with the award for Best "Best Boy" in a Drama Series Not About a Hospital, Best Caterer, etc. (OK those last two awards weren't real but the sentiment is.)

The good news is that John Water's new movie "Pecker" will be released on 9/25. It looks quite good and Lili is one of the three or so main characters. Enjoy! Ayone who lives in Baltmore might want to check out the premiere at the Senator Theater.
