Lili Taylor is one of the best actresses in the world. Therefore, I was a little shocked to hear that some people had doubts about her role in "The Haunting" remake. Except for a thankless role in "The Impostors," Lili has proven to be a fine, dramatic actress. Plus, she gave an exceptional performance as a latter-day vampire in "The Addiction." She is the best choice for horror because she brings one element that most young actresses fail to or have to work harder at: sympathy. I look forward to the remake and to her role as Janis Joplin.
