Democrats want to spend my money

Why do democrats think I don't know how to spend my money? Every democrat I have met in my life, for some reason or another, believes I don't know how to lay out $6.50 for a movie or pay $0.98 for a gallon of gas.
I just heard on the radio about an attempt to pass a bill in both the house and senate that would add a "luxury" tax to movies. Not only that, but another "fossil fuel" tax to be added to help compensate for the potential loss of revenue from electric cars. (I guess there does not exist a tax on utilites, which is why they feel they need to tax us ahead of time)

School shootings - 101

Folks, if you are going to bring a gun to school and do away with lots of those unwanted popular people that you oh so hate, forget it. That will only give rise to more pricks in your school, and you will end up having to commit suicide.
Not a pretty picture.

The wisest way around this is what shakespere said. "the best revenge is living well...".
By all means, this is your one and truely fulling way to seek revenge or payback.
You see, preppy sluts and dorks don't understand the whipping you may give them in school, but, they sure can figure out with their little tiny minds that your net worth is higher than theirs when you drive by in your $80,000 BMW or get credit from some fortune 500 company when they give you a nice juicy Xmas bonus...

Linux vs. FreeBSD

Recently, Bob Young and his co-horts have been pushing big time their flavor of linux. Now, thier company is valued higher than Novel's. Stock wise. It is important to remember that Linux is based on a kernel that is not under as much scrutiny as other software. It does not pass code review like other software, such as my favorite, FreeBSD.

FreeBSD has 2 things going for it that make it a really better choice. Networking and filesystem. As far as networking, it is just plain faster. It comes out of the box looking like a router, if you want. As far as filesystem, it does not suffer from the 2gb barrier, nor does it mount everything under root. (like linux does...) It even has a really cool volume manager, vinum. (raid 0, 1, and 5 as well as concatination of filesystems)

DirecTV vs. CableTV

Well, my wife and I were looking at the best way to get quality subscription prgraming in the house w/o having to spend alot of $$$. I decided to do some shopping for services online and see which provider had a better deal for us MinneSNOWtians. In the Minneapolis area, there is only one cable providers. (monopoly, thanks Ted Kennedy!) But, with dish, I get 2 choices. DirecTV is only $21.99/month for the channels I want. MediaOne is $39.95/month + fees. What a @#$%^ scam. So, I saw a deal on Yahoo! for a Hughes dish for 'free' ($15.99 S&H) and decided to try it out. The quality is MUCH better than cable and the reciever works flawlessly with my stereo system. I only wish I had s-video on my TV to support the highest quality picture they provide.

Anyhow, I am quite happy now with my new system from Hughes/DirecTV.

Gore vs. Bush

I am a die-hard Republican. Never claimed to be liberal on anything. I work for my money, as does my wife. We see over 40% of our income disappear to taxes each year. (about 40% to federal, and 14% to state) With this in mind, and seeing as how we now have a 2 trillion dollar surplus, why do we need to raise MORE taxes? Can't we just slow down the spending? Inflation of taxes has gone up at a greater rate than average income, but, they still need MORE...? Gore says he wants to spend more, Bush wants to cut taxes. Simple enough, money wise.

Gore insists to this day he invented the internet. (Fathered it, as least) I can tell you this. I was using email long before he even knew what a floppy disk was. I be he doesn't even know the difference between 100base-T, 10base-T, and 10base-2!
Bush has led the charge for education reform in Texas (after the last governor (a democrat) put Texas at the end of childrens education standards. Bush has done more for 1st, 2nd and 4th ammendmant rights than any other presidential candidate. He has also made both texas democrats and republicans square up the state budget and make things work.

Decisions like this are simple. Gore is shallow, untrustworthy, unreliable, and over rated. Bush has intelligence, charisma, character, and a proven track rechord of reform and commitment to economicgrowth and social responsiblity. Gore has yet to prove he is innocent of the charges of money laundering, campaign finance abuse, and job incompentence. My vote is for bush.

Paul Wellfare and how to keep a promise

If there is one thing that paul knows how to do, it is break a promise. He ran on being able to remain an outsider, but, has become nothing more than a party political puke. He has let down the voters of Minnesota, and managed to backtrack on all his campaign promises.

And now, he thinks we the people of Minnesota have forgotten his past. Not likely.
DemoKKKrats in Minnesota are really all about removing choices for you. They don't want you to have firearms, as you might rise up and defend yourself.
DemoKKKrats don't want minorities (especially blacks) from having any free will. DemoKKKrats like paul wellfare demand that you fall in line and vote for their party platform, otherwise, they claim honest Republicans might let you decide for yourself. Who would have thought of such a thing!!!

Paul and his flunky dayton recently took a trip to Brainerd, MN in an attempt to look "involved" with the community. Never mind the fact that paul and mark have ignored the iron range, or for that matter, National Defense, for 8 years. Now they go "to the rescue" of the northern cities only AFTER the crisis is over.

Anyone else remember this from "Gladiator" where the silly prince shows up for the war, only after the battle had long since taken place...? Sound familiar?

At last count, his polling numbers were some 10 points behind Norm Coleman. I respect Norm. He had done his best. He has fought the good fight. He has worked FOR the people as mayor. He is not some party lacky, or egomaniac. He can (and has) stand on his own.

Maybe Michael Moore will do a road trip with his good friend paul after the DemoKKKrat is removed from office.
