I'm making the transition from consulting to mail-order software development. My first product, which is in beta test as we speak, is My Manuscript Friday. MMF is a specialized database application designed for freelance writers and agents. It helps you track manuscripts, markets and submissions. It was developed using Microsoft Access, and is distributed as a run-time Access application, for the Windows platform.
Real Soon Now, I'm going to post a sample version of it on this page. The sample version will have all the features of the full-blown package, except that it will only allow you to enter three manuscripts and three markets.
I have plans for a wide variety of other packages, including a package to help musicians manage their own bands and interactive adventure games.
