Experimental Theatre Companies

These groups vary from drama to comedy, but all are engaged in creating mostly original works or original presentations with old works. This category includes all ethnic theatre groups and each company has a brief description of their work.

Drama/Classical/Comedy Theatre Companies

These companies are involved with creating traditional or classical works as a rule. Many, however, will engage in new works on occassion, but these companies help to set the high standards that we have here in the Twin Cities.

Movment Theatre Companies

By movement we mean stage movement becomes the primary means used for storytelling. This includes a mixture of mime, puppetry, and even dance, combined sometimes with text.
