Equipment you need to make a 2LVCO call

Requirements
  • Two telephone lines at your location. The voice line (line 1 in illustration) must have the 3-way calling feature available from your local telecommunications provider
  • Standard voice phone for line 1, preferably with some form of visual ring indicator
  • Data communications equipment for the line connecting to the relay (line 2)
    1. TTY (preferably with ASCII capability because it's faster than baudot) OR
    2. Computer with
        i. Terminal-based software such as HyperTerm for Win 95/98 or ZTERM for Mac System 7/8 and;
        ii. Modem, preferably with at least 2400 bps capability
Optional Stuff
  • DAI cord to improve sound clarity.
  • Cellular phone with conference calling feature for calls away from home or office.
