Järven Commonwealth

Background, Goals and Dreams: The Järven Commonwealth is a proto-government under the leadership of a druid circle.  It seeks to restore the elf- and fey-governed Järven Kingdom destroyed by the Mulvennans in the common year 1.  The Commonwealth is not anti-human, but actively strives to weaken human governance in western Soucy and the Great Lakes region, and to re-establish "forest rule."  It also quite naturally seeks to eliminate the truly wicked creatures of the wood.  The current Grand Druid, hoping to reclaim the title of Druid-King, is Nicholas Hÿnÿnen-Kenworthy, a half-elf.
Members: The Järven Commonwealth is a very inclusive organization, and its supporters come from many different classes and backgrounds.  The society is led by druids, of course, and rangers are also held in high esteem.  The bulk of its membership is comprised of high and wood elven warriors and commoners, centaurs, and fey creatures.  However, even humans and orcs are welcome, provided that they are loyal to the cause and do not have a tainted Mulvennan background.

Titles, Benefits and Duties: As you advance in renown and prestige in the Järven Commonwealth, you earn the privilege of drawing upon the power of the druids that make up the government's inner circle.

4-10	High Citizen of the Wooded Lakes: +2 circumstance bonus on attempts to influence the attitude of other citizens of the Järven Commonwealth.
11-15	Herald of the Commonwealth: Wisdom of the Druid - once per day, you can gain a +2 competence bonus to any Wisdom-based check or save.
16-22	Graycloak Warden: Once per month, you can obtain a casting of find the path, greater scrying, or transport via plants from the druids of the circle, at no charge.  By taking a -2 penalty to your affiliation score, you can obtain a casting of reincarnate.  Each month, you must donate weapons, armor, or minor magic items totalling 150 gp in value.
23-29	Sylvan Thane: Paper charm - when burned, a word of recall (caster level 11th) takes you and your allies back to Kuusamo.
30 or higher	Archdruid or Sylvan Lord: You are accompanied by two elven bodyguards (5th-level ranger/5th-level Order of the Bow initiates).  Make a DC 20 Diplomacy check each month; failure indicates the Commonwealth takes a -2 penalty to all violence and negotiation checks for the next month.  Three consecutive failures reduces the Commonwealth's scale by 1.
