= Tom Garneau =

Based in Minneapolis, I'm currently freelance producing, recording and mixing all over. I started my own basement 8 track studio in 1981 and in the following years recorded many of Mpls' great and near great. AUDIOACTIVE, my all purpose audio and production company, was established in 1987. From 1988 till 1996, I was on staff at Paisley Park Studios.
By nature I'm a Neve/API/GML kind of guy, but I'm equally at home on an SSL.

On April 24, 2000 I received the Minnesota Music Award for Engineer/Producer of the year. Thanks!
