2002.02.07	i stood up on my own to a standing position - i'm impressed.
2002.01.30	started my water-babies class tonight. ready to swim those laps.
2002.01.23	had my 12-month checkup today. i weighed in at 21 pounds 3 ounces. i measured 29 1/2 inches in length. i'm 60% in my growth chart.
2002.01.21	my first birthday! my pals came over and we parteed indeed!
2002.01.02	my mom is home with me all the time now. pretty cool. i'll be on my best behavior. i'll also help her prepare dad's home cooked meals ;)
2002.01.01	my first new year's. i missed it cause i needed to sleep. mom & dad said it was fun. maybe next year i'll stay up?
2001.12.25	it's my 1st x-mas! many travels and presents!
2001.12.23	starting to walk with the assistance of mom & dad. soon i'll impress them.
2001.12.21	happy 11-month birthday to myself!
2001.12.11	looks like number 6, 7 & 8 decided to come up together. soon i'll be able to eat steak with dad & mom.
2001.12.05	got a checkup today. i weighed in at 19 pounds 12 ounces. happy and healthy now that my ear infections are gone. mom says i was extra squirrelly too!
2001.12.02	dad put up the x-mas tree today. i guess there were a few lights not working - didn't know trees can make zapping noises - dad's OK.
2001.11.26	i guess we're getting 10 inches of snow today. i'll get to wear my snowsuit!
2001.11.25	got back from my first extended trip (5 days). had a great first thanksgiving with family in wisconsin & minnesota. had some turkey too, made me sleepy (just like daddy on the couch).
2001.11.21	happy 10-month birthday to myself!!
2001.11.17	got my first ear infection. i'm OK and so is mom & dad.
2001.11.09	getting my fifth tooth - this is a breeze.
2001.10.24	saw my first snow today - ready for the slopes...

2001.10.12	crawling forward for the first time. for a while going backwards counter-clockwise was fine, but this way is much better.
2001.10.07	my uncle keith qualified for the boston marathon today! he ran the twin cities marathon in good time - 3:08:47
2001.09.21	happy 8-month birthday to myself!!
2001.09.18	now i know why i was fussy - my front tooth poked through today!
2001.09.14	stayed over at grandpa & grandma llambes' - mom & dad had a quick getaway at the northshore.
2001.08.31	i had apples for the 1st time.
2001.08.28	didn't know i was mom's & dad's second alarm clock. i decided to sleep in today - mom & dad were late for work. that' o.k. - we all need our rest.
2001.08.24	mom & dad spent their first 2 days away from home. they sure missed me. i also had bananas for the 1st time.
2001.08.21	i'm saying my "d's". freaked my dad out this morning - "da-da", "daa-dee". happy 7-month birthday to myself.
2001.08.17	i'm sitting well and had my 1st visit to grandma di's house. i also had peaches for the 1st time.
2001.08.16	today i weighed in at 17 pounds 1 ounce. i measured 26 1/2 inches in length. i'm 75% in my growth chart. i also can roll front to back. i can sleep on my stomach too.
2001.08.10	i had carrots for the 1st time today.
2001.08.04	1st solid foods - sweet potatoes.
2001.07.25	had my 1st doctor's appointment. i weighed in at 16 1/2 pounds. i also noticed our cat zu-zu.
2001.07.20	i rolled over for the 1st time today. the floor sure looks funny.
2001.07.08	had my first swim in the kiddie pool.
2001.07.03	went on my first family vacation up north. i was fussy the first night but afterwards i got the hang of it. i started to squeal too.
2001.06.26	my 1st tooth came today. i'm letting my mom & dad know about it.
2001.06.??	1st time i had cereal. i kept it in pretty well.
2001.06.??	i decided to put my feet in my mouth. i laughed out loud too.
2001.05.??	i turned in my crib. didn't roll over - just adjusted myself for comfort. i also started to play with my hands.
2001.02.28	i smiled for the 1st time today. must of been the extra sleep.
2001.02.27	today was my 1st night away from home. i also have my 1st long sleep - 11pm to 7am.
4 weeks old	mom & dad go out on a date. i watch the house for them.
